1,The significance of the themeThe organic electroluminesence display is considered as a plate display technique with magical displaying characteristic. It is acknowledged display technique with the most developing potential. For the organic electroluminesence display, it is a important issue how could it combined with the VLSI design to design a driving chip that is suitable to the AMOLED display. The property of the D/A converter and the DC-DC converter in the driving chip can directly affect the function, speed and accuracy of the chip. This paper is mainly about this research.2,The elicitation of the themeThis paper is a part of the whole project"design and research on the AMOLED and its driving chip"of my lab. In this project, we take the AMOLED whose resolution is 64×3×80 as an example to design its driver to make it realize 256 level display. The driving circuit in this project has been divided into two parts.The first part is the portion on the screen, it include the pixel driving circuit and the row﹠column driving circuit.The second part is the portion out of the screen, this portion include the digital portion and the analog portion, also called data convert consisted of the D/A converter and the DC-DC converter.
