The Design And Implementation Of Online Test System Based On Asp.Net

The developments of the information technology have given the new challenge and opportunity to the education. With the popularization of computer network and the rapid development of the internet, it has became the imperative needs to overcome the shortcomings by using the modern network technology, such as too much work for teachers, inferiority of keeping secret, limitation of content of test paper, waste of woods etc. In order to improve of quality and efficiency of our work, advanced network technology has been adopted to substitute the manual work by using electronic technology to fix the problems which can't be fixed by traditional test system. So, the studies of online test system based on network are prevailing. I took part in the project of the study and implement of in 2005, and developed the most of the program of intelligently evaluated online test system which is based on B/S and using ASP.net dynamic web page technology and C# language, JAVAScript and HTML. Now the system structure design is completed. It can realize the following functions: creation of test paper by administrator, the definition of the type and style of test questions, management of test questions, student grade and user. The different type of test paper can be selected by user, and the paper can be created randomly and test can be started automatically. Moreover, the query of the grade can be done online.During the study of the project, I mainly do the following works:(1)The design and implement of online test software system is instructed by the new object_ oriented methodology which is combining UML and RUP. The development of online test system falls into the following stages: the acquirement of need, the analysis of need, software design, design and implement of database.(2) The thorough study of ASP.Net and ADO.Net technology has been made. ASP.net is used for the interface between the program page and distributed database, and ADO.net is used for the database access.(3) The basic discuss of the implement of three layers architecture is made.
