GIS-based Platform Digital City Management System Design And Implementation

In recent years, the concept of "digital city" is popular gradually, a large number of urban geographic space frame construction have been established. "Digital city" is a complex system engineering, it is the inevitable trend in the city of science and technology and social informatization development, also is the urban development of the new economic growth point. Digital city management query system is a subset of the "digital city", is developed with the put forward of "digital earth", and geographic information system(GIS) technology is one of the most mainstream for digital urban management.This paper first analyzes the digital urban management query system based on the research background and research status at home and abroad, puts forward the design principle of this system, the design oBujianective, implementation plan, system characteristic and the significance of the research and development. Secondly expounds the construction of digital urban management system based on GIS platform for key technology: the WebGIS technology, the ArcIMS, ArcXML, geocoding technology and based on ArcSDE spatial database management technology. Then on the current situation of the construction of digital city management system, system data and running environment were analyzed, and put forward the GIS platform system based on B/S model, design the overall frame and each function module of the system. Then completed the system database design: the principles of database design, data production standards, based on the Geodatabase data model of spatial data organization method, four levels of spatial database structure design, ArcSDE+Oracle relational database storage of spatial data and spatial data base design.Finally,the article takes zhangjiagang city as an example, introduces the background of zhangjiagang city, and in WindowsServer2008 environment, using Oracle9 i database, the ArcIMS technology, the function of ArcGIS, the JavaScript scripting language and C# programming language to complete the zhangjiagang digital urban management query system, implements the map management and query functions.
