Application & Design Of Data Mining In SCM System

Data Mining, also named KDD( Knowledge Discovery in Database), being recognized broadly as the important research field, is a new cross ology which relates with Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Database, Probability and Statistics, Data Visualization, High-performance computing, Neural Net, Space data analysis, etc.Along with the development of the economical globalization, the advanced SCM system gradually become the companies third profit. The effective use of DM could help company build the advantage of information and decision, and further to win the obvious benefits. This paper have attempted to practise DM technology in SCM. In the development and implementation of FUDA Group s SCM system, we adopt DM technology in two modules: the warehouse management subsystem s bins choice and the distribution subsystem s trails choice.There will have cheerful Prospects of DM technology in SCM field, and now it s just the beginning. In the future, we hope we could extend the DM application in SCM continually, perfect the SCM platform.
