Study On Rural Cadastre Management Information System Based On Palm-sized Personal Computer

Cadastre management is a coercive measure taken by our country in order to get cadastre data and investigate land status such as ascription, natural and economical conditions. It is a basic work for land management. However, the modernization of our rural cadastre management isn't good enough, even some established rural cadastre management information system have some faultiness. With the ambulant and portable character of palm-sized personal computer, the development of GIS was speeded up. Recently, there are many achievements in the study of cadastre management information system and palm-sized personal computer, but few of the integration of them. This article done some researches and tried to establish rural cadastre management information system based on palm-sized personal computer, using the combination of country cadastre information construction and embedded developing technology. The main works are as follows:1 Establishment of Rural Cadastre Data ModelWith Object- Oriented method, rural Cadastre data model is discussed. The management models of spatial data and attributive data are discussed respectively. The time-sign were introduced into the data model, and space-time data model was established to maintain Cadastre historical information.2 Standardization of Rural Cadastre Data ModelStandardization of rural cadastre data model has important effect on supervising rural cadastre information construction, and can also regularize the development of rural cadastre management information system. Many established cadastre criterions are regulated for handmade establishment of database mostly and rural cadastre database criterion is absent. This article establishes rural cadastre database criterions according to some related cadastre criterions and rural cadastre space-time data model. It includes the regulations of enlarged mode of rural cadastre management, denomination of cadastre block, classification on rural cadastre elements, and structure of attribute table and so on.3 The analysis and design of systemThe aim of rural cadastre management information system based on palm-sized personal computer is pointed out and function description, holistic design and module partition are also made. With the analysis of hardware characteristic of palm-sized personal computer, Level of Detail (LOD) is introduced to fit the need to display different hierarchical details under different scales and division storage technology is import for optimizing the data structure.
