As the carrier of knowledge and culture with the longest history, the book industry gets an unprecedented shock in the multi-media era nowadays in which more and more new medias and communication methods are emerging, and is forced to a negative position in the media environment.General interest book industry has been the tightest with media in the three fields of modern book industry. Both the competition and interaction exist. On the one hand, the varaiation of medias comes into the new medias's invading into traditional paper medias and the book market's shrinking. On the other, the media interaction brings many new changes to the book publishing industry.The auther gives a presumption that the Television book is a bilaterally increasing compound media being formed in the fierce medias' competition nowadays. It's a necessary result of the medialization of book industy. Its concept of "Media Interaction" and publishing mode provide a practical example to how to produce best-seller book and to promote general interest book industry.As the fruit of television and book's interaction, Television book takes the advantages of the two medias. It promotes both the television and best-seller books.
