Study On Systematic Integration Of Automobile Engine Assembly Line

With the rapid progress of economy, the automobile industry has been developing fast these years. The demand of automobile has been increasing from 90' s, when the automobile industry was established as the backbone industry in Chinese economy. The big progress of gross demand of automobile brings out that of the industry of automobile engines. The increasing requirement to improve efficiency of production, to enhance quality of products and to reduce workers' work intention, provides a base to many advanced automatically control technologies to be used in automatic assembly line.This paper discusses mainly about automobile engine assembly line which is demanded urgently in our country these years. By studying and analyzing actual advanced mobile engine assembly line in and out of our country, with using such theories as automatic control theory, electric engineering technology and design theory on system reliability, many advanced technologies, combined with customers' requirements, are integrated to be applied to automobile engine assembly line in this paper. These technologies include measuring distance with laser, field bus, Ethernet, etc.To make useful explore and accumulate techniques, in course of design and debugging, we fully see the trends of automation and products, and combine theories with application in our country and in our company.The system is practically applied in Weichai Power engines general assemble shop and Shangchai Power (Dalian) engines general assemble workshop. And they are running well now.
