The Research Of Key Technologies Of 3D Laser Distance Meter Based On ARM

With the development of embedded technology, all kinds of portable devices have being widely used in scientific research, consumer electronic, engineering, etc. In this paper, 3D Laser Distance Meter based on embedded chip AT91RM9200 is been devised and implemented to meet the application needs of traffic-accident investigation system and other engineering measurement in locale. The system has advantages of carriable, easy to upgrade and expansive, etc. The paper studies the key technologies of development embedded system with the background of 3D Laser Distance Meter system.Firstly, it Ports and tailors bootloader U-boot and embedded Linux in the paper. Due to Embedded system depends on the hardware very strong, it needs to port and configure the software according to distinct hardware. Base on analyses the startup flow of AT91RM9200, the paper shows a series of porting points in concretely application. Porting opteration system can offer a platform to implement the application system, and offer experiences for build operation system in different hardware environment.Implement the functions of peripheral devices of 3D Laser Distance Meter on system platform. The system involves with capture image, control rotary platform and Laser Range Finder. The paper achieves capture image and show in LCD, at the same time, the system can communicate between operation system and Laser Range Finder, rotary platform.The paper alse researches on GUI. Modifying and configureing GUI system MiniGUI, adding the input engine for MiniGUI which is a keyboard whose drive is finished base on analyse address map of ARMLinux. 2×3At the end of the paper, it researches on the arithmethm of system, and provides some methods to perfect the system.
