The Designing And Application Of Third Party Logistics Information System

The logistics industry is the foundation and artery of the national economy, and its development degree is one of the important signs of weighing a national modernized degree and overall national strength. To meet with the requirement of modern logistics, traditional logistics must finds its way out to the third party logistics(TPL). The quality of its information system will directly influence the logistics service levels of enterprises and market competitive.How to design a scientific, feasible, suitable TPL information system is studied in the paper. As logistics in our country is still at the phase of start, the research and application of Logistics Information System(LIS)is in the same condition. This thesis aims at the current situation of LIS development in our nation and abroad, points out the projects designing the TPLIS. It also gives a particular analysis on the practical application of the information system of China Post Logistics Company. This paper introduced the theories, concepts and some information techniques of TPLIS, which is the basis for the paper Research. The following is about the application and research of present situation of LIS in our nation and abroad. According to the current situation, the problems about LIS in our country were discussed in this chapter. Then the TPLIS is comprehensively and deeply analyzed and designed. On the basis of the things that business processing and demand analyzed, put forward the design of the affair and whole objectives flow in the TPLIS, this part has realized the designing of these function modules, such as customer management subsystem , order disposed subsystem, warehouse management subsystem, transportation management subsystem, finance management subsystem ,aided management and decision support subsystem. Finally, an application analysis of the China Post LIS is set as the case of the TPLIS in China. The purpose of the paper is to provide the foundation of the essential theory and the practice for the designing and application of TPLIS.
