Logistics management system is a realization of the modern logistics management; the enterprises reduce the cost of logistics by using the logistics systems, and the modern logistics management system plays the key role in the logistics management. The JinQiao logistics company is a typical third-party logistics enterprise in Sichuan province, with the extension of the company business and the increasement of the branch offices; the existed C/S based logistics management system becomes an invisible barrier of the company development because that it's lack of the computerized management of warehouses, with the goods picking out of order, and can not provide a proper man-machine interface. So the most important characteristics of the new system are as follows:it should provide centralized management of warehouses with optimization of goods picking paths and perfect man-machine interface.The relevant knowledge of the third-party logistics is introduced in detail firstly. And particular analysis are made in the key processes such as the current situation of the enterprise, the design aim of the system, the process of in stock, the process of out stock, the check process and the transmission process. The functional models are achieved for each business process and the functions of the system required are confirmed, and the non-functional requirements are provided. The architecture designs of the system including deployment architecture, running architecture, functional architecture, security architecture and database architecture are provided based on the former analysis. The technology selection according to the architecture is provided, and the architecture of the logistics system is designed according to the actual situation of the JinQiao Company. The implementation of the data persistence level and the generalization encapsulation of the data access object are discussed in the thesis, and they are satisfied the reuse principle of software programming, so that the duplicated codes are reduced. The application of the S style heuristic path selection optimization increases the efficiency of goods picking prominently. And the implementation of the in stock automation function and the direct transmission function can reach the requirement of the company's business. The application situation of the system is introduced, and the main performance parameters of the system are listed in the last part of the thesis.The thesis aims at the actual business requirement of the Sichuan JinQiao logistics company, the third-party based logistics management information system is developed employing the modern logistics management theory and information technology, and it's valuable for inland third-party logistics information system development.
