Based On Java Postal Logistics Information System Design And Realization

With unprecedented growth of China's economy and foreign trade, import and export volume and the diversification of commodities keep on increasing. The corresponding circulation of commodities also becomes more frequent. It is obvious that rapid economy development stimulates the boom of commodity circulation and reversely the expansion and prosperity in circulation becomes an indispensable support for the economy growth. Thus, the ongoing maturity of circulation market gives birth to a new term, namely logistics. As a business with over one-hundred-year history, postal service always assumes the responsibility of goods delivery for the masses from ancient time, so it has abundant operation experience in commodity circulation. Meanwhile state council has shown its expectation on the enlargement of post logistics'scale and strength for several times.Hence, two primary challenges are presented to China Post in current marketplace of trade and circulation, what kind of role it is supposed to play and how to provide first class logistics services, which are the problems worth considering for contemporary generation of postal staff as well.Starting from exploring social logistics, this paper also introduces current status of social logistics and discusses the specialized national revival policy for logistics industry at the aim of consolidating services and prosperity in circulation.As a response to such policy, postal logistics, which is responsible for universal service and scatters over countrywide urban and rural area, emerged with the evolution of our society. In front of the new market demands, postal logistics shows its deficiency in the capacity and type of services.To make up such deficiency, postal enterprises are required to conduct institutional reform, refine the construction of postal system and constantly develop and optimize the logistics information platform.Facing complicated internal and external environment, postal logistics has to step on the road of third-party logistics transformation and design products with distinct level and target domain in order to satisfy various demands and handle market competition. Combining the mainstream technique such as Java and Open Source, the system chooses the light weight Spring framework with loose coupling and the Eclipse development platform with high expansibility, which involves various techniques such as Work Flow, Ibatis, Struts2, Sping Security, and Velocity. Based on a detailed investigation of the Post logistic business and the experience accumulated during long term project development, this paper constructs an extendable and automatic aiding development system as well as management tool, which uses J2EE framework and the respective Java Open Source techniques. Due to the openness and extendibility, this system can be used to develop postal business related software swiftly as well as reliably, which will save the postal logistic cost, cut down the duplication of labor, reduce the business risk, improve the logistic quality, and reach better customer acknowledgement.
