In this paper it is introduced that the essential theory and the development of the current-mode circuit and the current conveyor, then introduced the development of filter and the internal and overseas study situation on the second generation current conveyor (CCII) and the multi-outputs second generation current conveyor (MOCCII). The main achievements consist of as following aspects:1. Research on high frequency non-ideal characteristic of CMOS MOCCII.The paper analyzes MOCCII circuits using HF (high frequency) small signal equivalent circuit, and presents biquadratic model of VX/VY. We fit the model curve using the fastest descent method in least squares ways on the basis of the CCII's PSPICE simulation, and give the all model parameters. It is 10-7 that the quantitative level of the RMS value (the root mean square value) of the sampling points between the fitting curve and the PSPICE stimulation curve. For the single pole model of IZ+/IX and the double pole model of IZ-/IX we also fit the model curve using the same way, and gain the model parameters and the 10-5 quantitative level of the RMS value of the sampling points between the fitting curve and the PSPICE stimulation curve. These MOCCII HF model are provided with important significance in circuit design, the HF filter etc.2. MOCCII's HF compensationThe paper presents a novel method of MOCCII's HF compensation, using the parallel difference pairs to compensate the voltage transfer, adding the zero to compensate the current transfer and giving the calculation of the compensating capacitor. We also use PSPICE to simulate the fore-and-aft circuit of compensation, comparing their HF characteristic and the export curve of the filters which are made up of them. The compensatory result is nicer, which is in favor of the design of filters using CCII and MOCCII.3. Multi-input multi-output current-mode filters based on MOCCIIThe paper presented two kinds of multi-inputs multi-outputs current-mode filters based on MOCCII and their parameters can be unattached accommodated. These circuits not only can realize multi-input simple output filters which possess low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, band-stop and all-pass, but also can realize those functions'simple input multi-output current filters.
