In this paper lots of related academic data are inquired, the development of current conveyor and MOCCII is summarized, the former related researched fruits are utilized, and based on the existing researched status various methods that can improved frequency characteristics of MOCCII are introduced, which is started from expanding bandwidth of CC parts. The results of simulations and tapeout verify rationality and correctness of the research.The main innovations of the thesis are as follows:1) For current transfer ports, in order to improve the frequency characteristics adding a tunable resistor in current mirrors is adopted, which makes the first order system of current transfer function of the current mirrors become second order system with adjustable poles, and by controlling the resistance, lets the poles keep away from the origin in the plane S, consequently improves the bandwidth of the current mirrors.2) For voltage transfer port, in order to improve characteristics of voltage follow and non-ideal HF, three novel methods of HF compensation of MOCCII such as follows are advanced, and the results of PSPICE and HSPICE simulations show their nice compensation effects:I. Source capacitively coupled amplifier compensation method, namely SCCA. The main idea of the method is as follows: the original voltage transfer from Y to X that is no compensated is taken as low frequency transfer, then the added SCCA is looked as band-pass transfer, consequently the piled transfer curve is the one, which is improved in frequency characteristics.II. Parellel differential pairs compensation method based on"Multi-tanh curve"principle. The main idea of the method is as follows: Based on"Multi-tanh curve"principle, pole extending method is adopted for voltage relation of MOCCII from Y port to X port, namely we add the several parallel differential pairs between the terminals X and Y to let the poles of transfer function between the port X and Y keep away from the origin in the plane S, so voltage transfer characteristics are improved.III. Adding a tunable resistor in current mirrors is also adopted, but the tunable resistor is added in the mirrors from Y port to X port.3) Tapeout of only MOCCII module after compensation is firstly done in those researches of CC integrated elements at home and lots of tests of the chip's performances are planed. Hardware of the research takes part in MPW of Shanghai Research Center for Integrated Circuit Design, and the adopted process is CSMC 0.6um Mixed mode, which is 2 Poly 2 Mental and 5V core voltage. The layout of MOCCII IC is designed in detail before tapeout, and the performances of IC after tapeout are tested when sample chips are brought back.
