Technology of mage capture has been used in many fields along with the developing of science and automatization technology. It provides more effective inspector industry and makes human life safer and convenient.Advanced technology of GPRS wireless network transmission is applied in the remote wireless image capture system based on GPRS technology. Data of image can be transmitted through wireless network of GSM in existence. The system can be used in most occasions without special equipments, specially in the occasion that network with cable can not be paved or the target is moving. The system is composed of image sampling module, data compress module, GPRS network transmission module and alarm trigger module. Images are compressed and encoded with JPEG standard by hardware to reduce the transmission quantity of image data. Micro controller and programmable logic device is used in system hardware. This structure can connect the high speed part of image compression control with the low speed part of data transmission. Modules with general standard interface are used in the image capture system. The performance is increased with the reduce of system complication. Users can capture the image of the actual scene, and can also inspect and control it remotely.Whole process of the development of remote wireless image capture system is introduced in the thesis, including hardware design and implement of each function module, software design, implement of micro controller, programmable logic design and the implement of image data transmission in software. In the end, we debug and test the system.By debugging and running in scene, it shows that the image capture system can realye the request of design.
