Design And Development Of Purchase And Inventory Management System In The NEU Machinery Plant

Production management system is an important part of enterprise's information management. It is an important object for the enterprise to manage scientifically with MRP. With the tendency of global economy promoting greatly, the process of enterprise information has been a significant method to enhance the efficiency of the design, manufacture and management for products. It is also a choice for the enterprise to have to make facing the drastic competence.In our country, there are many enterprises whose management is not good. Its efficiency for the management and production is very low. It is meaningful for the enterprise to develop a management system according to its own way.This thesis is developed with purchase and inventory management system according to the practically fact of the NEU machinery plant and the inquiry of manufacture process. According to the MRP, the system achieved that inputting, outputting, and checking the inventory with computer and achieved the purchase order management, which make the management manner transfer from writing by hand to registering with computer. Meanwhile by applying arithmetic of MRP, the program constructs the frame tree model and determines the purchasing date, thus controlling the inventory effectively and decreasing the fund tied by inventory.Firstly, the thesis introduces the conception of MRP, developing process of it and trend of it. Then it analyses the practical situation by studying the question, which make a good basis for the system. It constructs functional model with IDEF It introduces the process of designing the system in detail, which includes the analysis of database, model of E-R, and the designing for all kinds of tables, conception of BOM and its means of design. It also introduces that the purchase date with BOM and purchase advanced date, the classification of ABC. At last, it introduces the realization of the system and the means of all kinds of function and the example of the system. It is also introduced that security of design and its merit.In the system, it is used by ASP3.0 on the front and SQL Server 2000 in the back. It is applied with B/S pattern and visits the database based on web.
