Along with the rapid development in science & technology and society, knowledge economy has become the driving force of economic development for a country. For modern enterprise, the change brings both opportunities and challenges. However, obsolete enterprise managing mode and operational mode, shaped in industrialization age, can't meet with the further requirement for marketing competition and economic development. In order to improve competition priority and enterprise general ability, it has become a strategic measure for an enterprise to carry out a fundamental reform, with the help of modern information technique and advanced managing methods. Seeing that, MIS(Managing Information System) gets a variety of applications in industry.According to the actual status of NEUMP(Northeastern University Machinery Plant), NEUMP computer aided production management system is developed in the environment of .NET. The system adopted B/S systematic structure and SQL Server 2000 database. As for specific modules, it covers 13 modules, which are system management, task management, material requirement planning, capacity requirements planning, inventory management, production activity management, purchase management, technical resource management, process design, sales management, reporting system, accessorial functions and help. In the development of the system, I am responsible for the general design of system, and specific realizations of system management, task management, technical resource management, process design and reporting system. To illustrate the course of design and development, this thesis is divided into six chapters. Chapter one is introduction. This chapter makes a brief introduction to management information system, it also refers to the source of the project and task arrangement. Chapter two is general design of computer aided production management system. This chapter mainly determines operational mode, network structure, developing environment, hardware and software configuration, functional module of the system. Chapter three is design of database. Adopting standard design...
