With the development of CAD, CAM and CIMS, professional software, as a result of 3D CAD application re-development, is a useful tool to improve design efficiency, shorten design time and build the enterprise more ability of competition. This paper aims to achieve computer simulation for complex curved surface processing, taking SolidWorks as programming platform for secondary development, taking Visual Basic as a re-development tool, and make full use of SolidWorks API methods, attributes, to develop a complex curved surface simulation processing CAD system to engineering designers. Designers can direct simulation processing in the computer, shorten labor designers design cycles, reduce product costs, and greatly improve the quality of design.Author select the entities directly shape method to achieve system simulation processing. Simulation processing CAD system automatically startup the SolidWorks and insert the entities we selected into the SolidWorks, utilized the required API function, control the movement of entities to finish the Boolean operation according to the importation of key parameters, to achieve the removal processing of the entities, and gained the curved surface. Using the entities shape method makes the geometric models expression consistent with the actual processing, and makes precise comparisons between the results of the simulation and designing products possible.This paper from the perspective of Computer Graphics addresses the issue of virtual processing simulation, rather than from "the curved surface conjugate mathematical" principles.
