Designing And Developing Of An ELP System For Promoting Reflective Learning

With the rapid development of informational technology and the extensive application in education, how to effectively use informational technology to promote learning is focused at large by people. Electronic learning portfolio(ELP) ,as a kind of information technology, plays a more and more important role in promoting learning.After reviewing literatures, the paper launches on research revolved on the core problem of how to effectively use informational technology to promote learning. There are four chapters in the paper:Chapter One: General Situation of the Research. State from the background of the research, literature reviewing and theory basis of the research, the way of the research, the significance of the research.Chapter Two: Relevant Illustration of Reflective Learning and ELP. I describe the concept ,meaning ,and the process of reflective learning, at the same time, I introduce the concept, character, types, content, making tools and some classic cases about the content of the ELP.Chapter Three: Exploiting ELP to Promote Reflective Learning. I state the role of the ELP to the reflective learning and construct how ELP improves reflective learning based on the character and the elements of reflective ability, and then sum up the general process of creating the ELP to improve the reflective learning.Chapter Four: Designing and Developing of an ELP System for Promoting Reflective Learning. I provide the designing concept and the designing strategies of the ELP and state the technology environment of developing the ELP as well as the system function of the ELP .
