Research And Implementation Of Monitoring And Analyzing Component In Distributed Grid Monitoring System

Grid is a new kind of network computing platform after the WWW, which is an infrastructure integrating various resources worldwide. Grid monitoring is absolute necessary for Grid and Grid-based applications. Grid monitoring system is an important infrastructure and component of Grid computing environment. It is the base of efficient Grid resource management that collecting the status information of Grid components and monitoring status betimes and accurately. This paper introduces the concept, requirements, related standards and works, analyzes some typical monitoring systems; proposes the monitoring requirements, problems and deficiencies. Based the RNMS Grid Monitoring System, designs the architecture of monitor and basic analyze components, implements some modules such as adaptive sensor control, strategy of initialize, standard sensor interface, interior information format, event and data analyze of archived information, which improves the interoperability and scalability, and reduces the overhead.
