With the fast development of communication technology, much information storaged and real-time processed, the performance requirement for equipments is more and more high. But the big disk space cannot meet all needs throughout regardless of several K, dozens G or some hundreds T. However, the development of Internet becomes a successful example actually, there is massive information on the net, it is transmitted every time, but it can't cause the entire Internet collapsed as a result of the much data. Because of the distributed stocked data we can make full use of memory resources and share them. Moreover many enterprises all have the local area network resources. Above all, this paper make a kind of architecture — distributed memory database system(hereafter refers to as DMDS) to solve this problem by using the network technology. The strategy of DMDS is to unite the merit of distributional technical and the memory database. it provides the user with the transparent use of local area network memory resources. Because this resources access speed surpasses the ordinary database disk operating speed, therefore, this plan not only can share the local area network memory resources, but also may realize the highly effective data storage management. The P2P system can dynamically manage its nodes based on Chord agreement, the traditional B/S or C/S pattern is also abandoned, which can guarantee flexibility and tolerance of system, meanwhile enhance the system operating efficiency and proportion. With the mature development of network technology and appearance of the low-priced memory of high capacity, the application prospect of DMDS will be more...
