China IT book market has at least has 6 billion RMB sales amount annually. This thesis adopts the management principle and knowledge, analyzes the features of IT book market, and submits a set of policies from the point of view of management requirement for an IT book publication.The thesis that adopts SWOT method, does the environment analysis of IT book publish houses in detail. The thesis presents that since the set up of publish house and the book series are monitored and managed by the administration, it needs time to reach the full free market situation. The status of competition among publish houses will not change in a short period, the publish houses should have time to acquire profits and adjust the strategy of competition.The thesis does the analysis of the situations for major publish houses on IT books market. The feature of this IT books market are the type of books for designing is at the top of bookshelf, the type of books for education becomes the main part of IT books, and the books introduced from foreign countries are important too.
