As a big telecom enterprise, Harbin Communication Company has built a comprehensive computer business system. In order to adapt to harder market competition, the change from production-centered to consumer-centered, sufficiently utilize invaluable information resource which is obtained from business system, settle the basement for flexibly making sell policies, the marketing support system is born. Harbin Communication Company plans to develop marketing support system, in which the data warehouse can be built, and the management of information-driven business will be implemented. This system will be a sound way to improve marketing management and provide sound support for enterprise management decision-making. The result of the system will enhance the competition capability of Harbin Communication Company.In this paper, the marketing support system is described in detail. This system is implemented with three-layer architecture. The Struts is used to develop the business logic function in the system. The data loading and processing in background are developed with the traditional and efficient storage procedure and Pro*c. The development of this system embodies the enterprise's potential requirement for data warehouse. Data warehouse is different from conventional database technology. This paper gives a simple subject example, constructs subject-oriented logic model, and study and practice the design of data warehouse, data organization and storage, and ETL method and techniques, based on Oracle, a large relational database. At the same time, this paper establishes the telephone-with-caller-ID marketing model, mines the relation rule in telephone-with-caller-ID increment business, to direct the selling work for telephone-with-caller-ID business, and settle the foundation for enterprise data warehouse in the future.
