Research And Realization Of Embedded Web Server Technology Based On Chip Microcomputer

With the rapid development of communication, network and semiconductor technology, accessing network has become an important trend for embedded application. More and more embedded systems exchange data with Internet by Web server. And Ethernet constructs modern Internet as the basis. So the realization of embedded Web server based on Ethernet has a good practical value.This paper have designed an Ethernet embedded Web server with 8bit single chip microcomputer, which is based on the middle and low-grade embedded systems of MCS-51 series. The hardware platform is composed of MCU W78E516B, Ethernet controller RTL8019AS, RAM 62256, network filter 20F-01, programmable logic chip ATF16V8B, etc.The development environment is Keil SDK, which integrated with editor, compiler, simulator and debugger. The core of the whole program is tiny TCP/IP stack. RTL8019AS and its driver program realize the physical layer and data link layer in the reference model of tiny TCP/IP stack. The design of the tiny TCP/IP stack can divide into two parts. One part includes the transmit-receive buffer and global timer. The other part includes the modules of ARP protocol, IP protocol, ICMP protocol, UDP protocol, TCP protocol and HTTP protocol. Based on HTTP protocol and CGI, the embedded Web server is constructed in the application layer. It can realize the dynamic interaction between browser and Web server.At last, the embedded web server is applied in the B/S remote temperature monitor. The experimental result of the monitor by simulating operation shows that this system has a good affectivity and practical value. This paper ha s a helpful attempt to the application of Ethernet embedded Web technology in monitor fields.
