How To Satisfy The Old Industry Base In The Northeast-Problems Lie In Information Resources Management And The Ways Of Dealing With Them

This paper analyses the development and progress of Information Resources Management (IRM). It also sets forth the view that libraries play a positive role in developing the Northeast economy, which is based on the principles—taking advantage of information technology promotes industrialization and in retune making use of industrialization spurs information technology—given by the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. With the theories of regional economy and library science, the paper remarks upon those problems lie in IRM serving the development of the Northeast economy. And then it is stresses the hidden functions of library resources and in the long term how to realize the development of both the Northeast economy and the library cause under the leadership of the Party Central Committee.
