| The old model of Band-Aid product finishing machine in our company is FCC10. This machine is mainly drived by one main motor with chain and gear transmission. The product speed is very low (1000P/M), and difficult for regulation, only can make two kinds of product.According to follow the market requirement, we decided to develop a high speed, easy adjustment machine which can make many kinds of Band-Aid product.We use the Motion Controller M70 of ORMEC as the center controller of the equipment, redesign the drive system based on FCC10, compare with the old model, improvement is made in this design mainly on the following aspects.1. Develop the the old drive system from singal AC motor drive system to servo motors drive system for control precision improment.2. Use ORION M70 motion controller of ORMEC Cop. as main controller for multi-Axis control to make the control system more stable and reliable.3. Separate the equipment control system into serval Axis control systems by different functions for easy adjustment and making many kinds of product.4. Use Product code selection program for different products, the operator only need to select the related product code on touch screen when making different products. It reduced the changover time.5. Use Alarm message program for detailed alarm description, it reduced the troubleshooting time.6. Use DC motor drives and tension control for speed control of low and up wrapper unwinder, pad unwinder and pott paper unwider to raise the production speed.The new system use the DSP motion controller of USA ORMEC company as main controller for multi-Axis controll, and communicate with GE PLC through a single channel communication card.The program is modularized and seprated into several sub-programs. The final program includes main program, code program, alarm program and other function program.The new designed sysem is a high precision intelligentized multi-Axis servo controll system, and has been put into use in our company. |
