The continuity of operation not only means that their computer system could run continuly, but also means that their operation can also circulate in succession. After"9?11"accident, better companies profoundly realize the importance of operation continuity. With a comprehensive understand of backup and disaster recovery field, many famouse companies pay attention to IP storage. Some famouse corporations such as EMC, CA, Veritas and so on also supply the corresponding resolvents. IP storage is a developing market. The researchment of disk mirror based on IP that is independence, high effect and low-cost is very important and the realization of backup and disaster recovery based on IP using the foregoing researchment has greate theory and use value.In this paper, the techniques about disk mirror based on IP are studied and a method of disk mirror based on IP is discussed. Based on IP, a function of disk mirror is realized. It can memory data in disks fleetly, cheaply while the disks are far from each other and this can enhance the reliability of the system.
