With enterprise developments in informatization and automation, Disaster Backup and Recovery (DBR) gradually becomes more important to enterprises. This paper describes the functions and relevant concepts of DBR, and the technologies used in DBR platforms, formulates the combination of Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO), and explains enterprise requirements for DBR. This paper also designs a DBR solution for an enterprise based on the particular situation of the enterprise, providing remote DBR and improving enterprise information system availability.By reviewing DBR cases, this paper describes the developments of DBR platforms in China and other countries, and then proposes the DBR solution for the enterprise in light of the characteristics of the enterprise. This solution is implemented by using Change Data Capture (CDC)-log-replication-based database-level DBR software-to construct a stable, reliable, and flexible DBR platform between the local end and the remote end, and provide the data replication service between the two ends (for example, two production centers). The feature of this solution is that numerous data can be copied, and data changes can be responded to immediately, thereby providing incremental replication. In this way, data consistency can be maintained between the source end and the target end of data, high data availability can be achieved, key enterprise applications can be supported, and enterprise requirements for service continuity, load balance, data integration, and others can be met. This platform has the near-real-time data replication capability that serves as the basis for enterprise operating decision making and quick response.Requirement research and analysis during the implementation of the DBR platform helps raise the awareness of DBR. The implementation of this platform helps enhance the anti-risk capability of enterprises. Key-technology analysis and architecture design provides reference for otiier DBR projects. |
