Nowadays, telecommunication business depends on the computer system morethan ever before. The computer provides technical infrastructure in the rapiddevelopment of telecom business, but at the same time, it leads to a lot of catastrophicdamage in the bud because of the concentrating on information and treatment as wellas unforeseen trouble and misery. Therefore, the construction of disaster-tolerantsystem is of important significance.The construction of Disaster Recovery System is a long-distance system indifferent places with a long-term aim that it takes full precautions against variousregional power outages, earthquakes, and regional disease. However, how to reducethe loss of data and ensure transmission rate and communication quality will bediscussed in the paper. How to reduce impact on production system and decreaseperformance construction cost and make full use of its resources to ease the pressureof the production system will be also inquired and solved.Firstly, this paper elaborates the key technology and theory in designing andimplementing the Disaster Recovery System. Technology and application areproposed through the comparative analysis of the main data of disaster recoverytechnique. Based on this, a new method for disaster recovery system analysis anddesign is proposed and demand is analyzed through the quantitative and qualitativemethod. The author gives the general system design and puts the disaster recoverydesign into the system construction and also analyzes the construction of storagesystem and application system. Combining with the actual situation in Hunan Telecom,the author puts forward a disaster recovery technology based on logical volume mirror.Adopting the data backup technology and cold backup scheme in different places,BSN (Business Support Network) disaster recovery technology is achieved and putinto practice successfully.The author designs testing programme, write testing software and also testsdisaster recovery technology.The test results show that the system can ensure datasecurity to improve the business on the basis of the ability of continuous operationand reduce enterprise operating risks. The system will reduce loss of business to anacceptable level, improve the service quality and service level, and enhance thecompetitiveness of enterprises.
