Establishment And Application Of Jinan Compositive Underground Pipeline Network Information System

As important infrastructure and lifeline of city, the underground pipeline is the elementary condition to sustain development of society and economy. It also is the essential condition of people living. The city compositive underground pipeline network information system is a special application system in GIS field. At present, it is more and more emphasized . So it play an important role in society. It offers not only indispensable basic data sources to city pipeline network department but also an advanced technological instrument for city planning construct and management.Standing soft project point of view, this paper has put forward the effective way of setting up the comprehensive underground pipe network information system of Jinan. Reference to current country , trade , local technical standard and in terms of Jinan characteristic of city , this paper makes the code scheme of the data. It combines GIS, CAD and database to relate graphics and database. Even pipeline data dynamic update, maintenance and management are achieved.Using Microstation/J as platform and using MDL as developing instrument, system puts all sorts of pipeline data to the database and then creates the pipeline graphics file of Microstation formation, check the data attribute of the element, revise the element and databases joined, produce the inquire report, etc. The later proportion of paper introduces the system application in underground pipeline survey of the city zone road of Jinan and Qixia.
