This paper introduces the developmental conditions of condition monitor and fault diagnosis of electromechanical device, the host well elevator system composition of Dongtan Mine, analyzes the importance of the on-line monitor and fault diagnosis in the mine elevator. The monitoring projects of the speed, the position, the temperature, the hydraulic pressure braking system are proposed in the view of the elevator actual movement characteristic. The usability and the reliability of the above plans are proven according to the host well actual movement situation in Dongtan Mine.The characteristic of this research lies in the real-time monitorings of the speed , the position, the temperature and the braking state in the elevator movement process are realized ,and the alarm information storage of the fault and the judgment of the first fault point are achieved aiming at the potential harm in the elevator movement, and we use Siemens S7400PLC technology and Profibus, the MPI field bus technology, through industry configuration software Protool, WinCC, which is good for the persons in the scene to understand the condition of the elevator movement and to process the faults. In the actual application, the conclusion whether the running data overstep the safe range could be gotten out by comparing the actuarial measurement value of speed, position, temperature, brake pressure, plate brake clearance with theory set value, using fuzzy model control theory. And the conclusion could be communicate to the primary PLC control system and WinCC, Protool with ProfiBus, MPI, Industrial Ether Net. Then the conclusions could be recorded, filed and referenced by the time sequence.This article keeps point on the application of S7 400, PLC, FM458 according to the characteristic of SIEMENS industry control technology, and the control technique about ProfiBus.
