As the development of modern manufacturing and virtual prototyping engineering, the complexity of engineering is increasing unceasingly: The tasks' levels are complex, personnel participated in is numerous, and resource's category and amount are getting more various. Although project management technology oriented virtual prototyping engineering can assure project to finish efficiently via controlled scheduling, effective personnel organization and reasonable resource assignment.This thesis proposes and designs a distributed project management system based on web service after analyzing the problem of traditional project management, which is named WSPM. It designs the main module of schedule, resource and calendar management. Based on the web service implementation of project management using Microsoft's .Net, it studies and implements the algorithms for work breakdown, gunter chart display, task moving, task pulling and task splitting based on the gunter chart.Considering that project management system in virtual prototyping engineering needs to integrate with other systems, this thesis analyses the demands of integration among project management, workflow management and model management system, and uses XML to implement the information integration among them. Finally it discusses the method of encapsulating legacy systems using web service, and implements the encapsulation of one legacy system —PDM in virtual prototyping engineering. |
