Research On Jiuwang Daily And The Journalists In The Culture City Of Guilin During The Period Of Anti-Japanese War

The topic of this article comes from the history scenario during the period of the War of Resistance against Japan, where Guilin, usually famous for its beautiful landscape scenery, was rapidly developed into a center of advanced culture in the southwest area. Literati gathered there, and many anti-Japanese national culture activities was undertaken. All these led to the prosperity of the newspapers and journalism. Jiuwang Daily, a newspaper inaugurated under the name of the Kuomintang-Communist cooperation and as the symbol of the United Front, gained legal status in the Guangxi area which was ruled under KMT.
