A mobile ad hoc network is a multi-hop temporary autonomous system of mobile nodes equipped with wireless transceivers and receivers. As a special wireless network without any fixed network infrastructure, it has extensive application prospect in military and civilian field. It has been a research highlight in current network study. With the prevalence of multimedia applications, it has gradually become an important research field to provide QoS(Quality of Service) in mobile ad hoc networks. However, mobile ad hoc networks have a lot of characteristics such as multi-hop, limited bandwidth resource and dynamic network topology. These features make it more complex to provide QoS in mobile ad hoc networks and give network researchers new challenges.Major objective of this thesis is the extensive research on how to provide routing protocols with QoS guarantee in mobile ad hoc networks by referring to current relevant research contributions and simulation methods, extendable simulation principles of network simulator NS2.Anycast service is an effective implement method of distributed services in mobile ad hoc networks. It can simplify the configuration and management of...
