Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET) is a multi-hop and autonomy wireless network. It is a collection of wireless cooperating mobile hosts forming a temporary network without the aid of any centralized administration or wired infrastructure and is used in environment which needs temporary network such as military exercises and disaster relief.Because routing information is a main measure of maintaining the network topology and routing protocol is the basic to support corresponding service, routing protocol is one of essential and hot area in MANET. At the same time , despite of security targets of wired network, MANET has its special security requirement, but additional vulnerabilities and features pertinent to this networking paradigm might render traditional solutions inapplicable. Then, security is another essential and hot area, especially security of routing protocol.Anycast routing protocol is a totally new protocol framework which is proposed in IPv6. It can support many servers supporting the same service to share a same Anycast address to support Anycast service. Because of the feature of high mobility in MANET, Anycast routing protocol can balance its network load and improve its network performance efficiently.Based the analyse of current routing protocol , security problem, Anyacst communication model etc in MANET, this paper focus on the design of Anycast routing protocol of MANET, security mechanism of routing protocol, design of Anycast routing model etc.The major work of this thesis include:(1) This paper has analyzed and compared the current routing protocols(including Anycast routing protocol) in MANET, and proposed two new Anycast routing protocols: A-AODV, A-DSR based on AODV and DSR. The simulation results show that the performance of these protocol , such as Packet delivery, Average delay, are improved effectively compared with their basic protocol and new routing protocols can support Anycast services efficiently.(2) This paper has analyzed current intrusion detection technology and proposed a new measure RBDT which combines anomaly and signature_based detection technology according to the characters of routing behavior in MANET. The application of RBDT will improve effectiveness and veracity of routing behavior detection efficiently.(3) This paper has analyzed the an important detection technology: reputation mechanism, and proposed an effective secure reputation mechanism SRS. SRS includes a node evaluating modek a changing algorithm ^ a secure reputation information exchanging model. It can defend routing attacks efficiently.(4) Because routing information is a main measure of maintaining the network topology, it need an effective mechanism to protect routing information. This paper has proposed a new security mechanism MCPD which combines prevention and detection techniques efficiently. Based MCPD, this paper has proposed a new routing protocol MCPD-DSR. The simulation results show that this mechanism can improve security performance of routing protocol in hostile environment efficiently. At the same time, Anycast routing protocol has its special features . This paper has adapted MCPD for Anycast routing protocol. The adapted mechanism A-MCPD can improve security performance of Anycast routing protocol effectively.(5) According to the features of Anycast routing protocol, this paper discusses mainly the design and implementation of MANET Anycast routing protocol model of soft router in Linux operating system. The production of our research work in this dissertation can be used in MANET to improve the performance of routing protocol and the security of routing information in hostile environment efficiently.
