This thesis aims at problem of the current study of enterprise application integration that includes ignoring business process integration, integrated ability is bad, flexibility is poor, and interoperability is not very well and so on. It proposes the design thought which Web Services technology and Event-Driven technology are used to solve the question of enterprise application integration. And designs the Enterprise Application Integration architecture of the Event-Driven based on Web Service—WSEDEAI (Web Service & Event-Driven Enterprise ApplicationIntegration), which supports asynchronous communication between applications using web services. The main ideal of it is to express business logic in the form of ECA (event-condition-action) rules. Uniformly managed by the rule engine, business events trigger corresponding rule executions. It offsets the shortage of request-reply semantics of web services by providing an event driven architecture. Combining EDA and EAI characteristic, this thesis proposes the ECA event-driven model, the business process model and the event-driven data integration, and discusses how to implement business integration by work-flow. With the good performance in secure and the business management, J2EE platform is used to implement WSEDEAI architecture. The prototype system, based on Web Services event driven flexible data integration architecture, was developed by J2EE. It can be applied to the enterprise application integration systems of changing frequently, which request high to flexibility and expansibility. The experiments shows that, applying the WSEDEAI architecture to the enterprise application integration, can reuse the existing system components, implement the information exchange in the isomerism environment, enhance the business processes efficiency, and bring the high flexibility to enterprise.
