Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is the most popular software architecture in the field of Enterprise Application Integration in recent years. While traditional distributed communications technologies such as CORBA DCOM and RMI also can achieve SOA, which can't completely reflect the essence of SOA because of their shortcomings. Web Services technology injects new content to SOA, and withthe emergence of a new SOA practice program-Enterprise Service Bus, whichhas create a big wave in middleware and systems integration market, the various manufacturers have proposed their own plans, launched its own related products.First of all, this paper researches status of enterprise application integration and analysis the lack of the traditional methods and EAI technology, such as the point-to-point integration and EAI middleware integration method: The former is complex costly, and difficult to maintain, while the latter is close coupling with specific manufacturers. After introducing the basic theory of SOA and Web Service technologies, paper proposes a SOA solutions Based on Enterprise Service Bus, and proposes the ultimate goal of the research through a combination of BPEL Workflow and Portal technology-W2P-EAI platform.Second, through the analysis of the related technology of W2P-EAI platform, paper proposes a hierarchical structure model for W2P-EAI platform. From the bottom layer on the order: information systems layen services layer business process layer and user interface layer, and paper gives a brief introduction from the functional point. Then, this paper further proposes the architecture for W2P-EAIplatform, which involves three supporting platforms-Services InfrastructurePlatform Services Combination Supporting Platform and Portal Integration Supporting Platform. They correspond to the three levels of hierarchical structuremodel-services layer, business process layer and user interface layer. Then thepaper describes the architecture and the detailed design of each supporting platform. Subsequently, the paper has a comparison between the structure of the W2P-EAI platform and the traditional framework. Finally, based on the hierarchical model and the platform architecture, paper constructs the SOA-based realized platform through integrating the selected open-source components. Then paper has a analysis of the structure of the realized platform and development process. Besides, paper also describes how to use this realized platform to achieve Enterprise Application Integration through a simple application example.
