Script Based Service Authentication Authorization Accounting Logic Implementation

At the same time, service data utilized by services will get more complicated than ever together with more new services.In the architecture of NGN, Application Service could be the center of value added service provision and it would use and maintain service subscriber data; meanwhile SoftSwitch Control, which is the center of call control, also has to use and maintain subscriber data for routing, address resolution and supplementary service provision. Under such conditions, some service data should be synchronized among application servers and SoftSwitch Controllers. Along with the number of subscribers increasing and the increasing of the complexity of services, such kind of synchronization will cost more and more.After IMS is brought forward and it is getting to be a hot spot. The trend of the convergence of fixed line networks and mobile networks becomes even more obvious. As one of the more important characteristics of mobile network, an independent subscriber data control entity could play a very important role in the convergence network. And its capabilities could be further extended to fit the requirements of NGN. Such entity is named as Subscriber Profile Server (SPS). This paper covers the following aspects of SPS.1) Based on the analysis of NGN, the location and capabilities of SPS is specified in the layered architecture of NGN;2) To specify the capabilities, which should be provided by the intermediate protocol of SPS, two important subscriber data processing protocols, Radius and Diameter is introduced and compared.3) The architecture of SPS is brought forward from the analysis of SPS's capabilities. In this architecture, script compile, script processing are employed to satisfy the flexible data processing logic; and protocol access/adaptation is introduced to access multiple protocols.4) Script utilized in SPS is introduced, together with its syntax. Moreover, the design and implementation of script compiler and the expression generated by script compiler are specified in detail.
