Since long ago, many people made a mistake about station clock precision, they thought that the requirement of station clock precision needn't high, so they can't think much of it. In fact, the issue of station synchronization will influence radio service quality. With perfecting of radio station coverage and network, for improving satisfaction of user, optimizing network performance, such as drop ratio, access ratio, paging success ratio, cross tone, etc, we shall think about station synchronization while building radio network transmission and backbone synchronization network, so we can improve synchronization performance of network end, and improve total running performance of network.Relative to other two 3G technology (CDMA2000 1X and TD-SCDMA), NodeB synchronization of WCDMA will arose more recognition. CDMA2000 1X and TD-SCDMA use synchronization technology, generally use GPS as synchronization clock, so the factor need to think while network building is few; while WCDMA NodeB use asynchronism technology , so needn't use GPS clock, gain the synchronization from transmission network.
