With the continuous development and popularization of the network,the network has entered every corner of people's lives,clock synchronization as one of the basic elements is very important.Network Time Protocol(NTP)is used in daily life to synchronize network clocks,because the accuracy of NTP can meet the daily needs,however,NTP can not meet the requirements of high-precision timing system,so there are many algorithms try to solve this problem,but the performance of each algorithm in different environments are different,however,the performance of different algorithms in different environments are different,most of the algorithms have higher accuracy and stability in a single environment,but factors that affect the clock synchronization algorithm are not evaluated.At present,there is not a prefect tool to evaluate the algorithm.Therefore,this thesis designs and implements a network clock synchronization algorithm evaluation system based on clock calibration,and systematically measures and evaluates some clock synchronization algorithms.This thesis studies the composition of GPS system and the related principle of timing.Based on the time synchronization model of clock synchronization algorithm,the factors affecting the clock synchronization algorithm,and the strategy of evaluation clock synchronization algorithm,the clock synchronization algorithm based on clock calibration is designed and evaluated System and some algorithms are evaluated.The mainly work of this thesis is as follows:Firstly,the thesis studied two kinds of time calibration techniques and analysis the accuracy of these methods:GPS-based clock calibration and non-GPS-based clock calibration.By using both the serial port synchronization method and the pulse synchronization method,and the mathematical model to obtain accurate timestamp at any time.Accuracy analysis and measurement were performed for both of these approaches for obtaining accurate timestamps.Secondly,the thesis studied the three basic models of the clock synchronization method and summed up the basic model for the system.Then,the thesis studied the factors which influencing the clock synchronization algorithm,including two major factors affecting the network and hardware factors such as the asymmetric round-trip delay,the dynamic change of network routing,the system clock drift rate,etc.,and simulated the factors which were verified the authenticity.At last the thesis used visualization analysis to show results.
