Research On Workflow System And Resource Description And Management

From enterprise production management to office documents auto transfer, all kinds of process-related automatically disposing technical are connected with workflow. Originating from office automation field in 1970s, workflow has been a hot topic in the field of information. Research on workflow technical is from modeling, analysis, simulation, and architecture to all applications, however, there are still some problems which can't be solved perfectly in workflow systems, such as more and more complex architecture and resource description and resource management under workflow system.This thesis did some research on workflow related theories and knowledge, including basic concepts of workflow, architecture of workflow management system, reference model, general compositions of workflow engine, etc. Based on the research above, it completed research on resource description and management under workflow system, designed and implemented a prototype system. The detail work is shown below:(1) Researched on resource description problem under workflow system, gave a RDFS based resource description method and a method to parse and deduce the semantic resource description, and implemented them in prototype.(2) Researched on resource allocation problem under workflow system, discussed some principles and strategies on allocation and scheduling, and gave a UPC theory based self-learning algorithm to optimize resource allocation.(3) Based on the research on architecture of workflow management system and general compositions of workflow engine, designed a...
