This article discusses the advantage of soft switch technology and the feasibility analysis of importing soft switch into GSM network, in the following aspects. Soft switch technology is ripe and is widely used on the wireless-network, which is bulky in nodes, safety, flexible with low cost. And it would strengthen the core competitiveness of corporation. This article is beginning with discussion of the advantages and specialty of soft switch, making mention of the disadvantage of GSM network nowadays, and puts forward three solutions: 1. Building one pair of Server,set separately, with voice over TDM. 2.Building two pairs of Server, set separately, with voice over TDM.3.Building concentrated Server and MEDIA GATEWAY, with voice over TDM.
