The Design And Implementation Of TMN-Based 3G Network Configuration Management System

In recent years, mobile communication network develops rapidly. The categories are numerous and the equipments are more and more complex. With people's dependence on network increasing unceasingly, the importance of the network management and control becomes remarkable; a kind of advanced reliable network management and control system is badly needed. The shortcomings of existing network management configuration system such as the simple function, the inconvenient operation, the imprecise data control turn into the problems which the customs and developers pay attention to.This topic comes from the 3G network management project which ZTE mobile communication develops for mobile operation businessmen. This thesis first introduces the domestic and international related research of the topic. Based on the characters of numerous network elements and the strict business requirements under the 3G background, the thesis analyzes the existing network management systems and gives the summary of the advantage and the disadvantage of each system.Secondly, the thesis explains the main function of the configuration management subsystem in telecommunication management network under TMN structure, including the data collection of network element hardware configuration, statistics search, data constitution, character terminal, the building of logic network element and logic links. It designs the software of configuration management subsystem in mobile network management system based on UEP(Uniform Element network management Platform). The thesis also gives system architecture and process.Thirdly, the maintainability and testing of the system is improved by using JAVA, XML, the security of network management system F interface information, table adapter technology.
