Research On Expert System Of Fault Diagnosis Of Truck Based On Rules

Expert System of Fault Diagnosis is designed for improving the quantity and the efficiency of repairing vehicle in the army. This paper combines the relational database technique and the production rule of traditional expert system together, bring up a new method of using relational database technique to augment the body of knowledge base, and making use of the abundant first floor data control technique of Visual C++ to realize inference engine of car fault diagnosis expert.The paper focuses on the following two aspects.Firstly, the paper introduces how the system employs some technologies of database to augment the body of knowledge base, and achieves a large-scale knowledge. In detail, the system makes use of RDB to represent, store and maintain production rules, converts the structureless production rule into a linear structure and stores the latter in RDB. In order to maintain the rules conveniently, we make use of the technology of RDBMS in managing data for the trait of production rule, and then we design and realize the arithmetic to check the rules' equivalent and circulation.Secondly, the paper focuses on inference engine. Baseing on the fact that RDB stores the knowledge, the advantage of RDB and uniting the technology of database's index, association and fliter, we design a reasonable inference mechanism.The paper also introduces the concept of basic principles of knowledge base, Expert System, Expert Database System and the knowledge of repairing special kind vehicle.
