With quickly development of network technology and multi forces cooperation campaign, we want to make use of different simulators to cooperate training through network in different places, which can not achieve goal in the past disperse training. This demand spurs HLA naissance.Considering current development of the simulation of virtual ocean battlefield environment, this dissertation put forward Virtual Ocean Battlefield Environment based on High Level Architecture (HLA). And key technologies have been studied. The main works are as follows:Firstly, the configuration of Virtual Ocean Battlefield Environment was studied. Then this dissertation studies key technologies of establish modeling and dynamic 3D entities and static 3D entities based on studying VR development software MultiGen Creator and Vega and considering character of simulation ocean battle.Secondly, this dissertation gives a composing and sort of ocean terrain information 3D modeling storehouse and analyses method of 3D establishing modeling, achieves terrains and objects and sets up basement for following work.Then this dissertation studies the components of HLA. The core thoughts of HLA are interaction and reuse. The technique of HLA will help to solve the problem of agility and expansion in simulation system. And it will help to reduce the network redundancy data. This dissertation studies building UML modeling to HLA simulation application for convenience of understanding and exploitation detail simulation application. Simulation application exploitation UML modeling is built based on HLA ocean battlefield to use OOA methods with integration HLA and UML.In the end, using VR-Link, the system of Distributed Virtual Ocean Battlefield Environment based on HLA was realized. This dissertation discusses the process of the realization.
