Manufacturing is one of important pillar industries of our national economy. It is related to prosperity of the state. Virtual manufacturing is a powerful weapon for customer requirements. When made complex product physical prototype there are a lot of disadvantages, such as low flexibility and parallelism, long-period, repeating design and high cost. Virtual prototype can get over all of the shortcomings. Virtual prototype instead of physical prototype is an inevitable trend, but there are a lot of disadvantages. There is no integrated software restricted design of virtual prototype. In order to solve the bottleneck problem in the design process, this paper research on virtual prototype collaborative design and simulation platform's key technology.We analysis the research status of the platform, introduce the concept of High Level Architecture (HLA) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), combine SOA and HLA and promote the construct method of SHLAM. Not only make accurate and fast simulation use HLA as soft-bus, but also spurn the tightly coupled technology and the structure of specific model. Use loosely coupled technology make platform open, general and recombine.Take"Research on minitype universal autonomous docking mechanism"for example, we carefully research on the structure process of complex product's collaborative design and simulation of mechanical field and the process of mechanical component design. Put forward the bottleneck problem in the design process of data transmission based on the process and give the solution. It provides powerful support for integrate the platform.Promote Buffer-pool based on IT technology. It can support collaborative design layer. Use it in platform not only increasing the design pace, but also improving the accurate of simulation and forming a whole system. Take HLA as soft-bus and combine SOA is an innovation. Combined use of SHLAM and Buffer-pool for construct platform which reached the effect of combined use of tightly coupled technology and loosely coupled technology. According the research above and combine the research topic of multidisciplinary design of integrated platform and its key technology for virtual prototype, put forward the prototype of collaborative design platform. It not attempts to integrate commercial software but use layered method. Use Buffer-pool formed them as a whole system, achieved the effect of split but not shatter.At last, we put forward collaborative simulation of MATLAB and ADMAS in the example of thermal control electric louver mechanism control mode, given a detailed method of two-phase hybrid stepping motor SHLAM construction which provides key technical support for the platform simulation layer. We also provide the results of collaborative simulation.
