Coal mine monitoring system is the base establishments of coal-enterprise information management. It is an important part of enterprise information construction supported by development of industry-enterprise network. It is a kind of integration technology which involves the technologies of field-bus, computer, communication, and network etc.Considering traditional management production in underground coal mine can not meet the need of enterprises today, the focal point of this paper lied in designing and realizing a safety information system for underground coal mine Gas Prevention which could improve the safe controlling, managing and rescuing ability. According to the user's needs, the systematic design object is confirmed, function model is put forward which includes eight major function modules. Exchange information according to the unified communication protocol among every sub-system. The system integrated MIS with GIS to serve the management and control aim.The system integrated geographical information system and management information system. The application of this system can make enterprises improve the levels of safety production. This system could be used in all kinds of underground work enterprises, and bring in remarkable benefits. The system is a standard system which has unified communication protocol.
