In this paper, the design and implementation of the carrier synchronization technology in the Integrated Anti-interference Data Transmission System have been investigated. We focus on the carrier synchronization method, the circuit and its parameters design, the performance simulation and the circuit implementation in Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).In chapter 1, the basic principle and structure of the Integrated Anti-interference Data Transmission System are introduced.In chapter 2, the theory of Maximum Likelihood (ML) carrier synchronization parameter estimation (Frequency Estimation and Phase Estimation) are expatiated, and the closed-loop recovery methods (Phase-Locked loop, PLL) and some other arithmetic in common use are introduced.In chapter 3, a carrier synchronization method is put forward, parameters and design of each part of the AFC loop are described in detail, at the same time the carrier synchronization unit has been simulated using MATLAB language and its performance analyzed. Simulation results show it efficient.In chapter 4, the circuit of the carrier synchronization unit is implemented on FPGA, the Resistor Transistor Logic (RTL) schemes are presented.Finally, we summarized this thesis and give a prospect of the future work.
