The Design And Implementation Of Scientific Research Management System Based On UML

The exploration and implementation of Scientific Research Management System becomes an important assignment with the development of campus management of information system. This thesis just describes the design and implementation of the University Scientific Research Management system coming with the building process of digital campus based on a campus network.We take use of The Unified Modeling Language (UML) in process of development. It not only help us to fully understand the requirements of software system, but also help us to shorten the develop cycle and improve the quality of the software system. Based on researching references about UML, in this thesis, the application using UML to software development during the analysis and design period .Combined with practical project, from demand to systematic design, a detailed model is made. The work of thesis mainly explains as follows:1. In view of existing situation of college, a scientific management system is developed. The management system includes seven parts: user management, file management, project management, achievement management, outlay management, query management and maintain subsystem. The management system meets basically requirements of college and the function is very well.2. Combined with the real project of "scientific research management system" the thesis proposes a UML demand analysis and its modeling method.3. Based on the above model, the thesis implements the system by using Visual Basic 6.0 development tool and select SQL Server as the platform to develop the database.4. In the development of scientific management system, we take the safe policy and technical feasibility into count. Authority management and functions of backup and restore for Database make the system safer.
