Design And Implementation Of Web-Based Universities Scientific Research Management System

With the high improvement of the level of scientific research at college, research projects and products become more and more, the informatization of scientific research management becomes more important too. According to their own reality and demands, universities take great advantage of internet's benefits in the process of collecting and telecasting information, and develop the self-sufficient scientific management system based on Web, moreover, they establish the informationized platform of scientific research management, which is very essential.This thesis is written on the basis of the development projects about the scientific research management system in Anyang Normal University.At first, this thesis has done the research on the relevant technology of Web application based on J2EE platform. It discusses the MVC design pattern, a kind of replicable application solution, accumulating and summarizing by the developer in the developing process. Besides, it introduces Struts, Spring and Hibernate, the three typical frameworks, which is a reusability design component and a kind of application's semi-manufactured goods as well. What's more, it studies and incorporates Struts, Spring and Hibernate Framework to a new SSH framework. Among this framework, Struts is used in the expressing layer, Spring is used in the business logic layer, Hibernate is used in the data persistence layer. All the three frameworks are well made use and forms an efficient Web application framework.Depending on SSH framework, it also designs and implements a scientific research management system based on Web at college, whose functions are listed as followed:(1) Realizes the Smooth work process about the online report, investigation, approval, in-process inspection, achievement of research projects and the research fund management. (2) Realizes the management informatization about the online submit, verification, collection, storage, query of research products. (3) Realizes the automation about the calculation of personal reward and work done of scientific research, the scientific research quantification assessment in each faculty. (4) Realizes the convenient and fast online telecasting about the information of scientific research. The system has established a foundation for the informationized platform of scientific research management.
