Feature Modeling, Feature Recognizing And The Application In The Integration Of CAD/CAPP

Integration of CAD system and CAPP system is the base of application systems in an enterprise。By establishing whole product information model of arts and crafts, information can be shared in the enterprise and build the base of the integration between other application systems.By product feature modeling on the basis of the integrationo of CAD/CAPP, the integrative product information models based on feature are built. According to the information requirements of information integration system, feature definition, feature classification, feature relationship, feature representation and establishment are all researched systematically. Then feature information model is proposed on the base of research of feature.Feature recognizing based on feature models is researched on the base of product feature model. Aiming at shaft part and box part, parametering feature base is built.After incording research, the module that uses of feature modeling and feature recognizing corresponding to shaft part and box part is empoldered with the foundation of the application development of CAXA.According to the requirement of CAPP, the module supply the art and crafts information to the designing feature information, make according arts and crafts feature information and XML files are outputted into CAPP system.
